25th Screen Actors Guild Awards: 'Black Panther' wins big

Black Panther once again roars at 25th Screen Actor Guild Awards. The best picture nominee at Academy award bagged outstanding performance by an ensemble cast in a motion picture.

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman talked about the cultural impact of the movie and referenced the Nina Simone song. The cast of Black Panther were very delighted to win the award.

“We knew that we had something special,that we could create a world that exemplified a world that we wanted to see.” Chadwick Boseman said.

Despite being sidelined by Academy, Emily Blunt was able to grab outstanding performance by female actor in a supporting role. She thanked her lovely husband John Krasinski and said he was a excellent filmmaker.

Academy Award nominee Mahershala Ali was able to to win best male actor in supporting role.

Another Academy Award Nominee Rami Malek bagged best actor in a leading role.

Glen Close was able to win performance by a female actor in a leading role for the outstanding picture “The wife.”

Alan Alda was honored with a lifetime achievement award. The legendary performer said “come at a time when I’ve had a chance to look back at my life and think of what it means to be an actor”
