Last night I went to watch Avengers Endgame again. I loved every single frame of the movie. The only thing that was bugging me was why Black Widow’s death is not being discussed as much as of Tony’s. The death scene of Natasha Romanoff was probably one of the greatest moment in Marvel history.
Scarlett Johansson has played the character since 2009. John Favreau introduced one of the most bad-ass female character in movie history in Iron Man 2. She has been a vital member of the Avengers family and it was very sad waving goodbye to the character. There is denying the Black Widow ‘s death scene was emotional but there are few factors that might have affected the online chatter of that emotional scene.
“Mr. Stark. I don’t wanna go” the scene was probably the most emotional scene in Avengers Endgame. Audiences in movie theaters were sobbing during the scene. However, the announcement of Spider-Man Far From Home was a factor that might have reduced the emotional stake. I am not trying to take anything away from the scene, Tom Holland gave his best but I knew he was coming back.
The same thing applies to Black Widow. The scene between Natasha and Clint was just heartbreaking but there were already some online chatters on Black Widow solo movie. The set pictures on Black Widow was leaked online just after Avengers Endgame. The pre-announcement of movies reduces the emotional stake.

Tony Stark is a fan-favorite character. The godfather of MCU has been in MCU since 2008. Fans are signing a petition to bring Tony Stark back and some are theorizing how Tony Stark could be brought back. The contract for Robert Downey Jr is up and I don’t think he is returning. But Scarlett Johansson is coming back for her solo movie.
Avengers Endgame was massively entertaining and enjoyable with some great moments. The death scene of Tony Stark and Black Widow was very emotional. Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role in the Black Widow movie next year.
